The project you’re stuck on needs to be a GENUINE do-it-yourself project (we’re not looking for failed contractor cases) and MUST involve some sort of construction or reconstruction (this is not strictly a design show.) The projects can range from small spaces (floors, windows, built-ins etc.) to room remodels (stairways, halls, living rooms, kitchen nooks, laundry rooms, bedrooms, attics, basements, home offices,) as well as outside spaces (garages, sheds, fences, landscapes, dog runs, ponds, fountains, gazebos) or any other unique project that we can help you tackle and finish in 3-5 days. Whether you're having an entire Kitchen re-done, or just changing the tile in your bathroom, we want to hear from you!

COMPANY INFORMATION:
DG FastChannel Los Angeles, is seeking a full-time vault librarian for our vaulting service. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a growing and dynamic team for the country's leading provider of video and film asset management services.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Perform labeling, bar coding, data input, tracking, and the timely locating of internal or external clients elements to aid production to ensure client satisfaction.
2. Proactively communicates and coordinates with other departments and facilities to manage inventory & assets owned by the company contact person for all vault clients.
3. Coordinate with the Production department to ensure that media is available for client orders.
4. Physically add and pull elements from shelves.
5. Check inventory lists against elements pulled and sent out.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
1. 1-2 years of vault experience.
2. 1-2 years of Ad Agency Production or Broadcast environment
3. Working knowledge of Advertising and Studio business and processes as well as workflow
4. Must have excellent people skills in order to maintain solid client relationships.
5. Must be able to initiate and prioritize projects independently.
6. Highly organized with attention to detail.
7. Excellent multitasking skills and the ability to follow through with projects in a fast paced environment.
8. Working knowledge of digital and analog video formats: D1, D2, D5, D9, HDCAM, DBC, BCSP, DVCAM, MiniDV, DVCPRO, 1”, BCSX, IMX, VHS, S-VHS, ¾”, DAT, DA-88, Audio Cassette, CD, DVD.
9. Knowledge of Excel and Word a plus.
10. Basic understanding of the audio and video signal with working knowledge of digital and analog broadcast formats.
11. Must be able to work as a team member in a professional environment.
12. Able to lift and move 50 lbs.
We are seeking an editor to assemble footage from a series of FBI interviews and footage for a spec documentary. We require fades (blacks) between shots, but no editing of sequences.
Estimated time for the job is one half day over the week-end or on Monday or Tuesday, July 7 or 8. Material was shot on P2 cards and is on an extrnal PC/MAc drive. Editor may work from home or on our Final Cut system (lap top) or AVID PC Media Composer.
